I watched several videos and a few written step-by-step instructions on Kettlebell exercises and correct form, but it was in this book that really helped me understand what I needed to pay attention to, and when lifting kettlebells. Because of the extensive information on Lisa’s book, I could not make any mistakes that could have caused injury to me. I started Kettlebell training in July. I own several of Pavel’s books, but I had seen these a @ Amazon and decided to buy it. Lisa is very detailed book on kettlebell safety and use. I have “tweaked” to do my own training with their book to make it more efficient and safer. It is very well organized, the pictures, text and instructions are easy to use and understand. Pavel’s books are also good, but for the details of the use of this book. (and the DVD of it too.) Rating: 5 / 5
I read this book several weeks ago along with the companion DVD, and the instructions, illustrations of different exercises and recommendations for the development of specific regions of the body – and even the way they wear the shoes for training, are all excellent! I would recommend you the DVD with the book. The author / teacher is very knowledgeable, precise, and treats them with respect audience (a big problem for me) after a negative experience with a DVD from another teacher. Lisa is not only incredibly knowledge about training with the Kettlebell, it also stands behind its products and is sincere in its approach to training.
